Great employees = great service!

At Discorp, we place enormous importance on providing top service! Of course, this service could not be realized without our great employees, who give their best every day. Employees spend a large part of their lives at work, which is why we want to make it as enjoyable as possible. There is no question that if you know how to bring out the best in your colleagues, they can achieve the best results for the company. Find out what the company is doing to promote the health of its workforce here!

2. Healthy eating
To encourage our colleagues to eat healthy, there is a fresh basket full of fruit in the cafeteria every week. Did you know that dehydration can lead to headaches and fatigue? Therefore, still and sparkling water is always available at Discorp to keep our workforce hydrated. In addition, there is delicious fresh soup every Thursday in the winter.

4. Pleasant workplace
There are also other things we have implemented for a good workplace. For example, we have added some greenery in our office by adding plants and moss walls. Not only do they improve air quality, but they also create a relaxing and calming vibe. In addition, we also have air quality monitors and noise meters to make the workplace as pleasant as possible.

1. Physical well-being
First, we try to promote physical health. Since our staff spend long hours behind a desk, we encourage them to go for short walks during the day. Meanwhile, we have even participated twice in “De Roze Mars”, an initiative of Pink Ribbon to increase exercise in the fight against breast cancer. Meetings are also regularly held outdoors or during walks in the summer. Moreover, we can walk and talk at the same time thanks to our headsets.

Additionally, we have ergonomic office chairs everywhere to make the working day as comfortable as possible. To combat a sedentary lifestyle, our desks can be adjusted to standing position. Finally, we have a ping pong and a foosball table in the warehouse, where our colleagues can always relax or be active for a while. To keep the team spirit high, we also organize tournaments.

3. Open communication
Maintaining good relationships between colleagues is hugely important in the workplace, as it certainly promotes the atmosphere and mental health of colleagues. In order to pay more attention to people-oriented leadership, open communication and a lot of other things, training courses are given to the managers on a regular basis. In addition, there are one-on-one conversations between team leads and colleagues, where people can talk about all kinds of things.

"Customers will never love a company until its employees love it first"

In short, health at work is key to our overall health and well-being. By eating healthier, exercising regularly, communicating openly, etc., we can create a pleasant work environment for everyone. Moreover, your customers will only love your company if your employees love it first. Thus, putting more energy into a pleasant company culture results in higher productivity and employee morale. And isn’t a healthy work atmosphere just what we all want?
