Discorp event

After a successful edition in 2019, we organized for the second time our own Discorp event. On the 2nd of June, we welcomed our customers in our new office building and introduced them to our main partners. Different vendors were present, and each of them got its own stand or room to show their products, answer questions etc… The perfect occasion to network, and to seek for great opportunities. 

Different sessions

To avoid too crowdy rooms and to maintain qualitative contact with customers and partners, we organized 3 different sessions: a morning (breakfast), midday (lunch), and afternoon (after work) session. Each session was introduced by Michel and Stephanie, our Manager and Managing Partner at Discorp.

Interesting speakers

Beside our customers, vendors, and partners, we also welcomed two interesting speakers: Michel Bouman, EMEA Technical lead of Microsoft, and Kristof Rutten, System Engineer at Apple. They both talked about the tendency of hybrid working, both with their own approach.

And let’s face the truth: it’s a once in a lifetime that Microsoft and Apple complement each other. 😉

About the hybrid work paradox

Bouman was present to talk about the paradox in hybrid working. We are all aware of the fact that the concept of working will never be the same as before the pandemic. Everyone wants to work from home, and at the same time being involved with the office. He explained how Microsoft Teams can be the perfect solution for virtual and live meetings.

About the best way to work hybrid

To make hybrid work efficiently, it’s important to keep in mind the sustainable and ecological aspects. He fully explained his vision on this way of working, and how Apple responds to the needs of hybrid workers. But also the ease of use and connecting your devices is how they stand out.

Everything included

When you think of networking and events, you automatically think of drinks and bites. So, good catering couldn’t be missing on our event. That’s why we contacted a specialized caterer to provide us with qualitative and delicious foods and drinks, customized to the session.

Besides, we involved a stand builder to create and set up an extra lounge area. This place served as a cosy and calm place to talk or eat.

As you could see at the event, our offices and meeting rooms are fully equipped with the newest technology and products.

It was a successful day! Thanks in the largest part to our clients, keynote speakers, and partners. We definitely enjoyed the experience.
