Where it once started with a company of around six employees, Discorp now has a team of almost 40 faces. in the last months, every department welcomed new colleagues. We gave the floor to three employees, who wanted to share their experiences – the managing partners, a senior and a junior member of Discorp.
We live in a decade where hybrid working and workplace optimization can no longer be ignored. As a managing partner, are you into this new tendency?
“Of course. As a specialist in workplace optimization, we know that it contributes to time efficiency and ease of working. Therefore, our main focus is the workspace of our employees. We recommend and provide the best technical gadgets and ergonomic tools to make their workday more comfortable. What we convey to our customers, we should also realize internally, isn’t it? ;-)”

Veerle, how is the vibe within Discorp?
“Amazing (chuckles). Short and sweet, but completely true. At Discorp, you’re everything but a number. The relationship between colleagues is loose, and we all strive for the same goal. We can count on each other, and that makes the ambiance very nice. We’re one team!”
What is your most happy moment at Discorp?
“Hmm, that’s too much to sum up (laughs). Every year, we organize a range of activities: teambuildings, dinners, escape rooms… But cream of the crop was undoubtedly our city trip to Paris. It was awesooome, with all the trimmings. It was a real booster for the team spirit!”

Was it hard to find your way and to join the Discorp team?
“No, absolutely not. The friendly, pleasant atmosphere and the openness among colleagues made me feel immediately at home. My direct team members guided me through the job and provided me with the necessary information.
Besides, everyone was very open getting to know me and letting me into the team. The teambuilding a few weeks ago confirmed my feeling that Discorp is everything but a boring place to work.”

What is the biggest plus to work at Discorp?
“The collegiality and team spirit, without any doubt. Good colleagues make every day a pleasure. And besides, the freedom and trust in what I do makes me feel very comfortable here. My function was quite new, so there were no strict guidelines to follow. They let me do what I thought was good, without any strict or severe ‘rules’.
